Ours is a 1997 so not sure what size you would need, however we bought the king and it worked out great. We bought it at ( believe it or not at Wal Mart.) surprisingly it is of great quality, have it two years now and still just like it was the first day we bought it. hope that helps.

I thought of that. Can he use the thru hull that is attached to macerator as we never use it any way, and do we need to install strainer? Also how do I flush engine after use? Have you done this? Does it effect the engine or drive in any way?

Update on overheating. changed the impeller, but mechanic said he doesn't think that's it based on what the old one looked like. He said it wasn't that worn out. Yes raw water cooled.

Used the 4 slots. These are I/O's so no heat exchangers. Gonna go take mechanic tomorrow and see if we can get alarm to go off while using heat gun, I really think it's a bad guage. The reason I say that is that it was well past 190 degrees and no alarm. The alarm should have gone ff at 185 to 190.

So my mechanic doesn't think it's the impeller of thermostat that's making the engine overheat. Mind you he has changed both but hasn't had a chance to run it to put a load on it.
