Never tried it manually, but I think it would be pretty tough to do manually especially with just one person. The power assist I think was well worth the extra.

I am looking for the specifics on how to get the aft cabin sofa apart (cushions off at least). The sofa in question is the aft cabin sofa that folds down with the buttons by the AC pad. Sounds like the one on the other post was under the mid berth. Thanks for any help.

Anyone have any advice on how to disassemble the aft cabin sofa on a 2002 380 Sundancer to gain access to the compartment the hot water heater is in? Need to replace the heater, but can't seem to get the sofa cushions off to get the space needed.
