Hey everyone! Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I thought it better to keep a thread going then to start all over..... My main power distribution panel Line 1 and Line 2 green lights are dim. All systems are GO, both DC and AC grounds check good, everything works, all safety is up to snuff...

Nice job!! I might do something similiar to make future servicing easier. My float and sump need inspection / replacement and I'd like to have new shower sump just to have a new one. This helps, because removing that thing looked CRAZY. Can't believe you have to break it to get it out, but...

Thanks Frank! I did read your article and it absolutely helped me rule out a few issues and directed me where to look. Thanks for the clarification on the fluid color. I inspected my ram today and it looks (and feels) to be almost new, no pits, scratches, damage, etc..... I guess my seals...

Thanks Sfergson!! So yea, I thought the same thing about the color of the fluid..... however it does have a hint of red tint. When using a bilge diaper under the steering cylinder, the small little drips come out with just a touch of red. Either that, or the mechanic from last year serviced...

Hey Gang! I was able to use this same grey approx 3" flexible conduit to route a few cables from the engine bay to the port side under the helm. Not sure if it is a factory loom or not. Mine had the bowthruster cable run through it, but tons of room for more cables and the fish went through...

Hey Gang! Completed the helm electronics update. Thanks to T Daleo, Capt Rusty, Frank W, and many more, I was able to get it done myself and professional ! I pulled out all old electronics, all old wire and coax, still have to remove old Loran and GPS antennas. Installed new E165 Raymarine...

Hey Gang!! Question for the knowledge base out here: Last year I had a mechanic replace my Type 1 AutoPilot hydraulic pump support bracket. (It was loose and somewhat rotted). This required the removal and replacement of the Type 1 pump, and I'm (now) sure they did not bleed the system...
