I know i am jumping on an OLD thread... I have the same issue listed above. I took the boat out last weekend for the shakedown cruise and noticed that the steering wheel had several hairline splits in the finish over the wood. I would appreciate any advice on repair options.

I can tell you this.... I have the 240 and would not want to downsize! In all seriousness, if you plan to hold for 10 years, I would hold for the 240. I can say from experience that you can plan on 2-4 people on the boat but that number usually grows and having a little extra space...

I had a small crack in my water distribution housing that allowed water in as the pressure in the cooling system built up. It is low pressure but the housing is plastic and typically cracks at the seam or at the plug used to drain the system (if someone tightens it too tight)!
I absolutely love being on the water at sunset. Went to dinner last night at Port City Club. Water was like glass. Love it!

I have no idea how busy Tims Ford Lake is normally. If there are fireworks, I do expect it will be more busy than usual. Add adult beverages to that and I see potential for a bad night. Just me, but I would not take my first night cruise on a night where I know it will be busy and alcohol...
I'm in the Crown Harbor Drystorage and it runs $8.75 per foot / per month. I am curious on pricing across the lake as well as service levels. So far I am happy with CH. Hours are M-F 9:00 - 6:00 and S-S 9:00 - 8:00. I would like to see later hours on Friday. There is room on the fingers at...
