Looking for a good mobile detailer on Lake Norman NC

Been a while since I have been on the forum but I always come back! I'm in dry storage on Lake Norman and looking for a recommendation for a good detailer that will come out to the marina. Any suggestions? Thanks! Don

    Steering Wheel Crack??

Hi All! I know i am jumping on an OLD thread... I have the same issue listed above. I took the boat out last weekend for the shakedown cruise and noticed that the steering wheel had several hairline splits in the finish over the wood. I would appreciate any advice on repair options. Thanks...

    220 or 240 Sundeck?

Welcome! I can tell you this.... I have the 240 and would not want to downsize! In all seriousness, if you plan to hold for 10 years, I would hold for the 240. I can say from experience that you can plan on 2-4 people on the boat but that number usually grows and having a little extra space...

    PWC Fail

Might be staged (or not). You can never really tell these days, I did have to watch it a couple of times though..... Regardless. The message is still the same. In the immortal words of Sergeant Phil Esterhaus "Hey, let's be careful out there."

Started with a dry bilge...ended with water

I had a small crack in my water distribution housing that allowed water in as the pressure in the cooling system built up. It is low pressure but the housing is plastic and typically cracks at the seam or at the plug used to drain the system (if someone tightens it too tight)!

    Dinner by water.

I agree Jim. I hope the business model holds up. The restaurant is so large that I expect they have a difficult time meeting the fixed expenses.

    Dinner by water.

I absolutely love being on the water at sunset. Went to dinner last night at Port City Club. Water was like glass. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    4th of July?

I have no idea how busy Tims Ford Lake is normally. If there are fireworks, I do expect it will be more busy than usual. Add adult beverages to that and I see potential for a bad night. Just me, but I would not take my first night cruise on a night where I know it will be busy and alcohol...

dry stacking prices on Lake Norman....

I'm in the Crown Harbor Drystorage and it runs $8.75 per foot / per month. I am curious on pricing across the lake as well as service levels. So far I am happy with CH. Hours are M-F 9:00 - 6:00 and S-S 9:00 - 8:00. I would like to see later hours on Friday. There is room on the fingers at...
