We purchased a condo and are pivoting into day boating around Sandusky Bay and the islands. The Sabre is going to hit the market soon. If it sells, we will do our best to get there for an afternoon visit. If is is not sold, we'll be there. How's that for a big "maybe"?
If you will have a "former" Sea Ray guy, and long time lurker on this site, we'd like to join the party. We'd love docking with all of you just to stay with the group. That said we are Park Place (Keys) members and if need be can stay there to make room for other Sea Ray's!

If you do organize "DSC for dummies", please include me in such a learning session. While I have always set my VHF's up with it, I have never tried to use it finding it intimidating!

Totally Agree!! Just this past Saturday we went out for a night cruise. We were in the Moseley Channel heading into Lake Erie from Sandusky Bay just barely on plane to enjoy the ride. At that time a large yacht overtook us. He was haulin a$$ right at Cedar Point in the same channel...
If I recall correctly, CAT recommends that the valve clearances be reset at 350 hours. Verify that this has been completed. At this age, you should also ensure that the coolant has been flushed and replaced. If it's original, it's overdue. The rest (at least for me) was oil changes, air...
