Keep an eye on the weather, lake can get ugly in a hurry. Sodus Bay would be a nice stop, been a few years since I’ve been there. Good protected area , shouldn’t have trouble getting dockage. Please let us how the trip went

Would have to agree you can’t be in a hurry . Great little destination s. Been on the Fingerlakes for 20 years and have traveled for the 1000 islands to Sylvan beach and the leg west to Niagara river.personally would want to do it on at least 30’ . Have seen kayaks to sixtys

What sort of budget do you have? Is it going to be used in salt water? A lot less potential problems with v drives in my opinion

sold a 2004 twin 5.0 with 600 hrs two years ago with no issues. Personally I think a boat with Low hours could have more issues.

What is the approx. age of the radar array? I have a E80 , looking to add radar. I dont have a trade but would you be interested in selling the array at what price?

Was wondering if anyone has added a cupped strainer over the genny intake fitting? My 06 340 lacks one , and constantly picking up weeds. My thought was to add one and just reverse the direction so not to force water up the intake while underway without the genny running. Any imput would great.

Thanks for imput regaurding the depth sounder. In my case I have a thru hull transducer. Idid not notice any "oil slick " in the bilge .Just figured since the boats is up on blocks, now is the time to address the issue.Thanks

The depth finder was functioning when I sea trialed the boat. After takind delivery of it and traveling two days back on the barge canal , it stopped working and has not functioned since.

Wondering if anybody has had this problem. 2006 340 sundancer with smartcraft 5000 and e-80 . a All the smartcraft functions work properly with the exception of the depth finder. Looked at the transducer and it appears to be ok .I was also told that they need to be filled with fluid, dont know...
