Hope all is well. I am in the process of replacing my fresh water pump. ( 44 Searay DB 2008.) Factory installed Shurflo 5901-0201 started the same old issues all talk about. The pump started to increase pressure and drive water out through the hot water relief valve. I have adjusted it twice and...

I really think a bigger unit with all the glass is needed. If I can help with more info, would be glad to. As info, I...

Thought I would post a little testing data on impellers. My boat was built late 2007 ( 2008 model ). I now have 300 hours on the qsm 500 so I decided to service the impellers. Now keep in mind since I bought it new the temp rises and remains the same during warm up and running on both engines. I...

Re: 420/44 DB Owners Club transmission filter I posted a discussion on how to clean out the filter on my zf280 1a 44 db 2008 boat. Thanks for the replies. I did figure out how to do this. First room is a real problem. This was solved by buying a shallow drive 3/8 socket 36mm. Hard to find but...

Short reply for now. I posted a full report on this subject. Please check all my post on this. I pointed out water flow is a real issue. I would suggest a 1,800 but you need a pump that max the water flow. This site had a good conversation on water flow and how to get max flow. My 1,600 runs...
