I just looked it up on the web and my A/C controls are the SMX IR controls. So I guess that it is infrared and the TV remote is the problem. I don't have the remotes for my A/C controls so I'll see if I can put some black tape over the input. Thanks!

Did you test the overspeed board to confirm it has failed? The procedure is in the manual and is fairly easy to do with a couple of jumper wires. Does the unit shut down as soon as you let go of the preheat switch or will it run for about a minute prior to shutting down?

The Garmin autopilot will fit in the same hole the tridata came out of.........just saying! It is easy to spend someone else's money!

I don't think I have ever seen a sea strainer through hull that is above the waterline so something doesn't sound right here. Most sea strainers exit underneath the boat (far below the waterline) and water should pour out of these if they are opened with no top on them. Could they be clogged...

I'm fairly sure my pole is original from 2002 so it is probably the same as yours. We just had a new table made and I need a base for the table that is the same diameter as the base on the boat.

Any idea what the pole diameter is? I am just about to order one for a 2 1/8 pole! If it fits I'll take it.

Would your hatch lift work if you turn your battery charger on? When you turn your charger on the positive leads (that used to go to your batteries) will be hot now so make sure they aren't grounded to anything. I've never tried this but it may be worth a shot. You would have to be plugged...
