Yes we did come thru it and happy to hear Frank's boat was stored. Pirates Cove just built a huge facility and just completed last year, and it looks like that one made it out very well. Very sad to see it but all likely hood of me being there for the next couple of years is very high.

I've been looking at several manufacturers this time around, but have given Tiara a serious look now. Are the C12.9 1000HP cat engine a great engine? Any known defects in them? Looking at C53 with that engine package in it.
Thanks to the both of you. I don't want the dingy to be wider then the platform, but it appears that most dingy's are 5'ft wide (at least the ones I prefer). Does having that additional weight in the rear affect maneuverability or performance of the boat? I would think the manufacturers factor...
Is it OK for the dingy to hang over the platform (width wise)?
I've also heard that it's not advisable to put the dingy on the rear of the boat do to irregular weight distribution?
I am looking at a C53 Tiara, 510 SeaRay and Cruiser 50' Cantius. All have hydraulic platforms.
