If you go to -http://www.perfprotech.com you can look up your engine and look at the parts diagram and choose your hoses in the cooling section. I have ordered many new hoses and Merc parts from these guys and had good luck with them and they usually have good prices.

I have a 1999 240SD with 1998 Merc 5.7 EFI with throttle body injection.Has anyone replaced the fuel pump on their 240's 5.7 EFI??? Wondering if it can be done without pulling engine. I can't seem to even get the plastic cover off the side due to lack of maneuvering room....:huh: Thanks

I have a 1999 240 DA. I have to go on the outside and push the rubber into the groove. Tried doing it from the inside but I could not get the bottom and top of the rubber to slip into the groove and lock in.Works every time now. Good Luck

I recently purchased a 240 SD and my co detector wouldn't test either, (no lights or tone). Pulled the cover off and the previous owner had disconnected a little plug inside the unit. Plugged it back in and has worked ever since.
