We used the marine silicone all the way around our windows. The black seal was cracked and broken and letting in water. It is working very well for now till we get new black trim for them. Water getting in your boat is the worst thing.

Thanks so much for the great information. I have tried all the motels mentioned now, all are booked or require a two day minimom stay on week ends. We are going to try the city dock (we are not looking for peace and quiet on this trip). You need to send them an application to dock over night...

Thank you so much Chuck but I have called them and they will only do a two day rental as well in their Motel or their dock. AND AND NOW THEY ONLY HAVE ONE Room. You would think it was a holiday week-end. We cant find anywhere to dock or stay.
