I have a 1997 Westerbeke 7.0 BCG gas generator that need a new exhaust manifold, part number 037320. They are discontinued so I need a used one. Mine has a hole in it at the exhaust flange, which is common. Can anyone help? I"ve searched EBay, google but no luck.:huh:

I talked my marina into selling me the engines for $13,600 each. Labor for the install is about $7,500. The boat's on the hard and the engines are ordered and paid for. They'll start the install when the engines arrive and bench run, next week. They figure 80 hours labor. Other yards...

You can get 8.1's on EBay and my local marina can also. Merc calls them rebuilt but their really not. They come with a 3 year warranty on the complete engine, no limit on hours. As to the repower, I'm looking at going up the East coast again and have the money to repower so I want to do it...

I'm replacing a blown tranny and someone said make sure to replace the damper. Well, they're $420 plus shipping, not so cheap. How do you now if it needs replacing?

I tried to remove the 2 allen head bolts holding the chain pipe cover on. They appear to be corroded in place. Anybody have the same problem and what's the fix?
