I had my controls upgraded on my 2002 300DA with no issues. They are night and day difference from the quicksilver controls. You will have to upgrade the shift cables as well.

Thanks for the reply, yes I love my 2002 sundancer but I hate those old controls. Its like a workout just to maneuver the boat around. Im hoping to do the replacement myself, just wondering if anyone has taken on this task and anything I should be aware of. Cheers!

Yes, the new pad resolved my issues. The secondary issue I had with the switch pad and all my lights on but no operation was due to low batteries from winter storage. Charged up the batts and full functionality was returned to the switches.

I just finished mounting the brackets onto the swim platform, however was wondering If I should be drilling another hole where the locking pin goes? Or will I be ok to just sit the pin in... The pin is there to hold on the main connection part of the weaver davits. Thanks!
