My 82 225 on its way home!

No, the only two days without rain or snow I have had to work! When the weather breaks I will be posting a complete set. Di you do the upholstery work yourself or have a shop do it? A buddy of mine is trying to convince me that I can do it myself. I am still undecided on that one.

My 82 225 on its way home!

Hey Ghuskin, It is the 228. I wish it were a 260, but believe I should have plenty of power with the 228. What is your opinion? My primary use will be cruizing with some tubing or skiing...

My 82 225 on its way home!

Thanks a lot! I was going to post some more pics today of all the work to be done. Then on down the road would have some before and after comparisons. However, this weather system is dumping way to much rain for that. On a much brighter note, I did get a chance to go out and verify that it had...

My 82 225 on its way home!

Here is a pic of my new 82 project boat! There is a ton of work to do. First and foremost, will be to insure that there is no motor or outdrive damage from not being winterized. Hi folks! Learning the ropes here....

You guys are funny! It is true... behave in China... or else!!!! LOL! Well, here is my new signature. Picture to come as soon as I can. I believe my boat to be a SRV225 SXL. I based that on the pictures in sales brochure that I downloaded from SeaRay.com. I hope I am right on that, else I am...

Hi folks! Learning the ropes here....

Thank you Scott and Bill! As soon as I can get it home and squared away I'll post pictures and try to update them as I go along. It may be a long shot, but mid to late spring is when I hoping to have it completed! For now though it sounds like I need to go figure out how to set up my...

Hi folks! Learning the ropes here....

My name is Jeff and I live in TN not too far from one of the Sea Ray plants. I just purchased my first boat. It is a 1982 22' cuddie. It is a "fixer upper". I will be hoping to learn as much as possible here to avoid dreaded pitfalls and mistakes! And if I do happen to ask a stupid question or...
