Guys I have an 89 4.3 alpha one. Looking to do some maintenance on it. Serial Number on drive is hard to read. Does 0C729124 make sense. Also where can i find the serial # on the 4.3 motor. Thanks in advance. Joe.

Bridog no it has not according to the old owner. I did have to replace some wood under the vinyl when the T-nuts pulled out of wood. It looked original to me see picfures.

Drinks the fuel as bad as my boat......lol

Thanks GFC I am just so happy this boat had all the covers. And she runs awesome. She cleaned up much better than I expected. We are already making memories.

Just purchased a 1989 180BR with the 4.3 175 hp I/O. Needs a little work cleaning interior, polishing etc. Has all covers and was in the same family all its life. Been reading articles in the forum and just had to join.
