no sending unit in the boat,wires were correct,found part at carp marina supplies in florida which is up the street.25 bucks for the sending unit..thanks everyone for the help and feedback...

yeah so i know what the problem is.i opened up the tank,theres no sending unit...the man who sold me this boat is whats wrong with society.i would not have mind doing a little work on the boat.but the fact that he dint tell me is just wrong...ive put a little money into it,now its all my...

could it be a bad sending unit?i got the wires right.and just incase the tank is not full...can anyone tell me how much a sending unit will set me back?its a 95 searayder,16gallon tank....and where can i oder one...thanks for the help guys i apreciate it..

hey bud,do you know where i can get help with my gas gauge wires?there not hooked up,and when i try it shoots up to full.i have a few wires hanging so i dont know...i have a searayder jet boat,95,can you help?thanks......

hey guys,new to the site,glad to see alot of searay owners.i have a searey searayder,a 95.this is my first boat,i love it.i however have a problem.my gas gauge is not hooked up,and when i try to put the wires the gauge shoots to full.does any one know what colors go on the gauge?:huh:
