Could handle slips. It's docking between boats at bars, restaurants etc. Some places do have people there to help on busy days. Lots of powerboats, and most are stern in. Trailer boat so anything with twins gets a little wide.

How does the 270 handle backing in tight spaces? Would it be much different than my 240sd? Not much room for error, fancy boats on each side. Would consider twins, but would have to look for something different.

What difference will be noticed between 08 240sd with 350 engine and 2010, 2011 270slx with 8.2? Not only speed, but ride, handling, and anything else.

When will sea ray introduce new slx models for 2016? Guessing not till fall but don't know. Anyone know of anything that will be different for 2016 yet? Heard new design will be made.

Slx without tower. Any ideas to get more shade than the factory binimi top provides? Adding tower is option, but still need more coverage for the family. Would binimi similar to my sundeck work?

Boat was run in fresh, brackish water. Any upcoming problems to deal with? Suppose to be clean, but have not seen boat yet. Should I consider newer boat with 60 hours, probably 20k more? Found 2010 with 496 and 2011 with 8.2. Both good engines I suppose. These are all 250 select/ slx boats.

currently looking to trade 240 sundeck. Looking at 250slx. Also considering cobalt. Had more than one say drive and ride a cobalt, much better than sea ray. Could this be? The 250 is a bit heavier than the cobalt of comparable size. Like the full seating of new 250's. Haven't been on either...

anyone try one and if so what's your opinion?

Currently have 08 240 sundeck. Handles well for tubing. Looking to trade for 250 slx, but have considered 270 slx. Would the 270 handle that much different than my 240 or the 250?
