Hello Carter, when you changed your power steering oil filter I assumed you filled the new filter with oil prior to installing, my question is did you have to manually bleed the air out of the system at the ram or did the air just work through the system on it's own? Thanks, Jim

I have the same boat for 4 years now and have no complaints, in my opinion the 48DA is one of the best Searay ever.

I am in the process of replacing my DVD on a 2008 48DA and have the TV removed to unplug the DVD but I cannot get the cord through to the DVD player due to what I believe are the tie wraps on the wiring bundle . I assume you need to remove the trim panels above the TV and Stereo to gain access...

We moved up this year from a 2009 40 Dancer into a 2008 48 and have no regrets. The boat in my opinion is the best layout that Sea Ray has manufactured. I would suggest looking at a 2008 or newer due to the electronic throttles and the 2nd generation smart craft, other than that the 2005 to 2009...

Mike, I was thinking about having a tool made also, what is the measurement across the flats of the tool that you had made? The nut appears to be either 2 3/4 or 2 7/8. The pipe wrench worked fine on my 40DA but the rudders are very difficult to get to on this one. Thanks Jim
