Same reason in commercial aircraft tires, less flux with temp/press changes.

I have the aluminum window frames and keep a coat of wax on them to prevent pitting.

I use for the summer only and it's 25 W 40.

I agree, normal for the Mississippi in the spring. The docks are specially designed to collect firewood for the campfire season.

My 2007 does not have those vents. I have the Norcold and it vents out the front, (top of the unit) as in the previous 320 picture above.

My bidge is finished gelcoat.
