1993 SeaRay Sundancer 370 Simrad Go9 Xse install

No I do not see the bow on my boat radars. With my mount and when the boat is on plane the radome is about level. I understand what you are saying with the angle, but no it is not visible. I love it, it works pretty good.

1993 SeaRay Sundancer 370 Simrad Go9 Xse install

Been awhile since an update, and unfortunately I didn't take any close up pictures. But, I got the adapter in the mail. I finished up the install. Everything seemed to be working great. I hadn't yet installed the scanstrut tower. After working out all the first of the year kinks (there were...

    My $500 270DA.

We used to primarily sleep in the aft of ours. It was the most comfortable and we loved it. Getting in and out wasn't very fun. We bought a 5 inch memory foam topper for the tops of our cushions. But way better than sleeping two in the forward v.

1993 SeaRay Sundancer 370 Simrad Go9 Xse install

So I spent all day finishing up the list of things that needed done before my launch in 5 days. I mounted the radar (without my radar mount from Scanstrut), attached all remaining cabling to the back of the unit, changed out all my plug wires and spark plugs, and changed out my fuel filters. We...

I decided to use the Scan Strut Radar mount with 6inch lift. (Literally just bought it) I thought I already had a mount, but it is just 1 inch blocks on wood painted white with a bolt through it. So instead I will install this one when it arrives: Scanstrut 6" Aluminum PowerTower f/2kW & 4kW...

So I'm just about done with the install. The transducer is being installed by my mechanic this weekend. Radome will be going on Monday. Probably gonna buy a mount to make it better.

Got more done today. Wired in my two fusion zone amps. One for the cabin and one for the 6x9's. the stereo sounds great. I installed my Navionics hot maps chip as well. I have great GPS signal with the internal antenna. Didn't get as much done in 7 hours as I had hoped. But here are some...

Not a big update, but ordered my thru-hull transducer. If anyone is looking for a navico totalscan transon mount transducer I'd sell it for $250. Brand new never used. Monday I'll get almost everything done. Maybe even install of the radome.

So I plan on going with a Airmar B150M Thru-Hull Transducer 20 degree. I Already have a hole from the old transducer in the hull, so it makes most sense to pull out the other and reuse the hole. Gotta find it for cheap now.

    My $500 270DA.

Following your thread. I had a 1987 270 that was in excellent shape. I sold it last year to upgrade to a 93 370DA. I love both of those boats. Makes me miss my 1987 a little.

Awesome! I will look forward to seeing your install. I am still considering my options on my transducer. I think I am going to use the transom mount transducer, just makes me a little nervous cutting a rather large hole through my transom. Also, I believe I will need a mount for my radome...

1993 SeaRay Sundancer 370 Simrad Go9 Xse install

Well I made some progress. A buddy and I spent about 5 hours working on the install today. We got the new zincs installed, speakers installed, the fusion with XM wired to power and all the speakers wired up, installed 7 new ETA circuit breaker type switches to replace old broken ones, installed...

1993 SeaRay Sundancer 370 Simrad Go9 Xse install

So I got a little more pre-install done. Both units are screwed down to the new piece of cut seaboard from U.S. plastics and I installed the USB and 3.5mm plug. Additionally everything else has arrived. We are having a warm snap this weekend (60 degrees and sunny) so I am considering going up...

Not to take away from my original thread, but anyone else on here have any suggestions on the best place to buy a refrigerator that would be the same size as the current ice maker behind the helm? It's shot and I don't need to make ice.
