    Thoughts on Mystery Draw?

Hey Everyone, I haven't been here in while but I am truly mystified. I have an 06 300DA that has been giving me some problems with a spontaneously draining starboard battery bank (two group 27s wired in parallel). I won't trouble you with the entire history, but finally I spent the day on the...

    New Sea Ray Model 28'-38'?

Here they are: 1. Phenom 33 - Remarkably advanced with a sense of mystique (could describe me) 2. Evolver 33 - An evolution of technological advances fulfilling owners aspirations and need for adventure 3. Sundancer EVO 33 - Evolutionary technology with less maintenance more room and great...

    New Sea Ray Model 28'-38'?

Probably old news to you guys and I'm sorry if there is already a thread on this (I did a search, couldn't find anything) I received an email from Sea Ray last week asking me to participate in a survey to state my preference on names for a new model they are contemplating in the 28' to 38'...

    Sales Data for Upgrade Options

Hi All, I don't know if the following request is legal for the forums or not - if it isn't I apologize in advance... The admiral is itching for something a little bigger than our current 300DA - specifically an island v berth. Sea Ray options are an 08 330DA, an 08 350 and an 06 38DA...

    350DA Change

I was in Hutchinson's Boat Works in Alexandria Bay, NY on the weekend and they had what was labelled as a 2011 350DA in their showroom. When I walked up to it, I was a bit perplexed because it has the hull windows like a 370DA - the long windows plus a circular light on each side. On the other...

A Couple Good Products for TV and Music

Only problem apparently is that if you stop the music for a period of time, the Miccus unit powers itself down which means you have to go power it back up to start playing again. On the other hand, I figure this saves battery life and since I usually just put a playlist on, it isn't a big...

A Couple Good Products for TV and Music

Just in case you're interested: 1. Needed an articulating arm to mount a flat panel TV but wanted it to lock in place when underway. Check out www.moview.com for their WSSL single arm and double arm locking TV mounts. I ordered one online - well made and locks firmly in place with no wiggle...

    Decorative Screw Covers

Boom! Local Sea Ray dealer did not have the answer to this last summer. I am missing one of these and it drives my OCD head crazy. Thanks to you guys, you solved a problem I had forgotten about. Thanks!

Apeiron Tri Color Light Installation Question

Hey, I'm thinking of picking up the Apeiron LEDs from Jim for the arch in my 300DA. Was there any consensus on screw type vs clip? I would prefer not to have to widen out the holes. Thanks!

I have to say I'm disappointed, I thought my spring lines kung-fu put me in the advanced class. Now I find out that it's possible to make your boat crab sideways against a strong wind and current without Axius or spring lines. Where do I learn this new kung fu? :-(

Why do you suppose he said "I don't advocate spring lines on twin screw boats"? Admittedly, I have a small boat (a 2006 300DA) but we spring in and out of tight spots all the time, especially when wind or current necessitate.

Current SR cruisers- form over function?

I'm with Monaco Mike on this one - we understood the 07-09 310 to be 'equivalent' to our 2006 300DA. Last summer when we got about the 2010 310 for a quick look, we really did not pay attention to the outside of the boat and were kind of shocked at how little we liked the interior and how much...

Current SR cruisers- form over function?

I don't know, we had a 2003 260 Sundancer for a year in 2009 and though we really enjoyed the boat, the replacement for that model, the 270 (and now the 280), was in our mind a significant improvement all around. In the cockpit, we found the addition of the jump seat and the ability to swivel...

    Trailering a 300DA

Didn't have to take the arch off, but apparently did have to follow a rather elaborate route to make it. It wasn't a lowboy - just an F series dually with a fifth wheel and a big boat trailer. With the radome on, I think it might have been closer to 14 feet.
