Just an update ... just got new motor in and did a test run in driveway .... all good except for alarm going off. Oil is good on gauge , Water is good on gauge. Just need to figure this out ?

99 SD260 7.4L MPI, Just finally got new motor in. I have 3 wires from harness and 2 wires to plug in . Not sure what I have missed. Brn and White Blue and White Black 2 blacks to plug into I believe this has to do with the trim. My indicator is no showing correctly but it trims up and down

I am converting my raw water open system to a closed one. I pick up a used closed system but in doing some reading some owners have the manifolds wide open and some close them off and just have the riser receiving raw water .. what are the pros and cons if anyone can assist

Sorry to add to this ,all of this is happening in my driveway under shore power as I am re powering the boat and checking all the other systems

Sorry it a Sundancer. There is 2 position for the key, when I turn it full like starting a car another motor turns on. As for shower/sink sump pumping into holding tank or out the side not sure how it is plumbed and why it would alternate to where it is pumping

1999 SD 260, has hot water tank which works off motor or electric. Also Sump pump and holding tank questions I cant seem to figure out the hot water .... the taps are not consistant sometimes its hot and then cold.The aft by swim platform hose bib shot out steaming hot water ?? The sump pump...

Bad Bad news... just before I was going to pull heads off I was taking a closer look and the Valley and noticed 3 hair line cracks..... f-me..... Well need to find a new block. Also need to figure out how to get motor out of boat. Not a easy feat because the boa sits 7 feet high at the side ledge

Was able to do pressure test and I can hear it whistle. Back cylinder are port side. Pumped up to 20lbs. If I shake boat I can hear it gurgle. What you think Head or Intake
