Rob,
My boat engines are 2008 8.1's with electronic throtle, I think those do not have the IAC muffler, instead it has a small hose that goes from the lower part of the Flame arrestor to the adaptor plate of the throttle body, any way, thanks much for writing your issue and solution...
I should come to this forum more often!! My boat had a similar squeak as in Rob's video. A mechanic diagnosed it as a bad damper plate and replaced it, then, the raw water pump, then the circulating water pump and several belt bearings... the noise continued... then I read the relationship...

That happened to me once, assume you have the Raymarine E120 screen with GPS, that has one connection to Vessel view, in my case I fixed it by checking the connections of GPS antenna, the Raymarine screen and the vessel View. All is under the instrument panel. Good luck!!!

I also have a 08 38DA when I bought the boat back in 2008 the dealer replaced the plastic door by one made of fiber glass. The new one has the Searay logo embedded in the external part of the door. The dealer then told me that Sea Ray was replacing the plastic doors.
Good luck
I have a 08 38DA with the 8.1 HO's it cruises at 25mph burning 35GPH, The engines have enough power to move the boat, but I agree that fuel capacity at 250gal is a bit short, has anyone installed extra fuel tanks? where?

I have a 2008 38DA with the acrylic door and SR is replacing it... same thing is happening with my neighbor who has a similar boat. They told me the replacement door is fiberglass and has the SR logo but I haven't seen it yet.
