I would be interested also to see what anyone had done with that space. Wife wants me to put a removable shelf or two in there for storage of bread, chips. paper plates and the like. Right now we use it for that except its just pile it in there.
I'm curious as to what diameter/pitch sized props other folks have on their 5.7 alpha one's. Wrestling with whether or not to change my 14 X 19 SS's to something else.
I have been searching everywhere for those poles. I had three that came with my mooring cover and lost one in the drink. Now I know where they came from. Thanks for your post.
Thanks AFD. We finally ordered a faucet from a online vendor that folds down, looks good and works great. Of course finding the correct parts was tough but doable. Will post picture later and try to remember where we got it. We, too are looking to replace that ice bucket with a small stainless...
A "Little Green Machine" works very well with the small amount of carpet we have. Just a little rough on the hands and knees! Just be sure to let it dry out good. Invest in a set of carpet covers from Great Lakes if you don't have them.
Anybody change out that ugly leaky sprayer over the ice bucket in the cockpit yet? I've repaired mine a couple of times but it starts leaking again and I have to let it hang down in the ice bucket when water is turned on. If so, what did you get that fits there?
I'm about to toss a dead DE-351d (?) 2.0 fridge that's been replaced. I can't make out the shelf size in the pic but I have 2 clear door shelves. Maybe they will work for you. I will measure mine tonite & post back.
You will need to clean that box out every now & then, especially if you take alot of showers. It gets scummy-grimy in there and will end up stopping up the shower drain. And don't ask me how I know.
Don't know if you found your issue yet but a couple of years ago my starboard engine would intermittently drop power or shut down when going on or soon after getting on plane. Did tune-up, oil changes, etc., still acted up. In my case it turned out to be a main water pump going bad. Replaced it...
We did this a few years ago leaving from Guntersville - 4 couples on a friend's big boat, rented rooms and stayed overnite at Lorette. Had a blast all around and another trip would be great fun! It will be "wait & see" for us as it depends on our work schedule at the time.
Well, time for new batteries. Memorial Day fun on the hook, got ready to head back to the dock and had to use emergency start. Thinking back tho the batteries did seem a bit sluggish when I cranked the engines for warm-up. Anyhow, I have August - 2008 Napa Stowaways and looking to replace with...

Still have my 1987 Fish & Ski, bought brand new. It's still in great shape, still used for fishing, and still used for pulling kids & grandkids around on the Super Mable. August will begin our 7th year with the 290. Bought her in 2005.

We're still hanging in at Ditto. If gas prices ease up enough we plan to run back up to GSV a time or two this summer to visit folks, especially for the Aquapalooza in July. Maybe we will run into each other then. If things don't liven up around here we will be back on GSV lake come Spring of...
