Reservoir bottle was replaced last year with the new drive and has been steady at full hot and cold

Good news and bad news about the boat today. Marine mechanic called said the stern drive upper is all tore up. Said more metal shavings then he's ever seen. Just had it rebuilt to be brand new last year. So warranty job, but who knows how long it'll take to repair.

The throttle handle was pushed forward in gear to 65% throttle. When I say I couldn't shift in reverse, I mean I could not physically move the throttle arm backwards into reverse position at all.

It was out of water last week when I checked the trim position of the drive. Didn't look overly caked with algae.

Just an update for the resolution. Had 2 bad spark plug wires. After new wires and replacing old spark plugs got full power again.

What really throws me off is it revs all the way to 5k in neutral. Just not in gear. I literally have the throttle handle at 60% running 3200 rpm (normal for handle position) and I can push it to WOT with no noticeable engine sound or performance.

Many marina only did the bellows, shift cables, gimbal, u-joint. 2 weeks after that my bravo 3 took a dump. They don't work on the stern drives so they removed it and I took it to a shop that does. Once finished he delivered the unit to the marina and they installed it onto the boat.

I had the marina pull it out today and check the trim shim setting. That was correct. So I changed the fuel filter.. No improvement. Waiting to hear back from the guy that rebuilt my bravo three. In the meantime the marina is calling someone in to read the ecu. To me it feels like I need...
