The receptacles (power outlets) on the starboard side of my 2007 44 Sundancer have quit. I assume it is a fuse but do not know where to locate it. The receptacles by the captains chair and the ones near the microwave in the galley all do not work.
Does anyone know where these are located?
Thanks
I agree with your comments regarding Sunset cove. It can be fun at times but not a place I want to be around a holiday weekend.
A raft up would be fun - there are plenty of great coves and we can keep it "kid friendly"
The speedometer and the SmartCraft speed display have stopped working. I did some research and apparently this could be caused by a blockage in the speed transducer.
I read an article that says you can remove this while still in the water (it is a through hull fitting) and replace it with the...
I used Simple Green (purchased from Wal-Mart not the expensive stuff from West Marine) and a magic eraser for the tough stains. Wiped off with a clean damp cloth - looks like new.
I have the Glomax on my 340 Sundancer and was only getting a couple of local channels. Having read this thread and a couple of others on this forum I decided to check the connections. I removed the white Glomax dome and to my surprise discovered that the antenna cable was not connected. With the...
I have decided to replace all 4 of the batteries as I am not sure how long the current ones have been in the boat. Having never done this before is there anything I should know before I remove the old ones? Do I need to turn off the battery switches? Can I leave the shore power connected? These...
I have SeaStar tilt helm and hydraulic steering on my 2005 340 Sundancer. I checked the hydraulic fluid level and it looks low. Does any one know if I can use Quicksilver Power Trim & Steering fluid to top it up?

Yes it did. We don't get the smell anymore. I think that I over-filled the head with water the last time I had it pumped out which probably got into the filter and rendered it useless.
New filter corrected the issue.
Mine was straight forward. Just two connectors on each end of the vent. The filter is on top of the head system. There is a strap holding the filter in place. I undid the strap, unscrewed the connectors, took a deep breath (it does not smell nice when you remove the old filter) and removed the...
I replaced mine yesterday on my 2005 340 Sundancer. I purchased the SaniGard Holding Tank Vent Filter 5/8" from West Marine.

Update: I went with the Sound Storm SD160UA (In dash) DVD Player. Purchased it from eBay for $60.50. The existing connections from the KEC DVD-2 fit perfectly except for the power supply which required changing the plug.
The new player works with both the main TV and also the small TV in the...
