The thought has never crossed my mind. I just use the tank drop ins and have it pumped out when it starts getting full. really wasnt that often. But I have a rule no #2 on the boat.

The clear is only a top coat. you first use Cetol marine or marine light then if you desire a shine you can coat it with the top coat. I didnt use the top coat last year but I think I will this year.

you probably dont have a holding tank other than the tank built into the toilet follow your waste line down and i bet it will go straight into the bottom of the toilet like mine. there is really no reason to worry about fixing the macerator since its Illegal to pump out into fresh water anyway...

There is no way I would ever remove teak from my boat. Why even have a classic? Cetol it and forget it! works great!

looking at searay.com archives the 79 260 sundancer looks just like the early 80s just like my boat. But the smaller 79 240 sundancer looks like the older models

From what I have been told the shifter control will kill the motor slightly to shift into forward and reverse. But its not enough for you to notice. And if it not right the boat will not run.
