Thanks for the answer. Of the answers I received it I would not know for sure what it is and it sounds like it could be either way. I wreckon I wil need an expert to tell me; though it sounds like if I sell it, it would be better off for a boat person because of the manifolds and other equiptment.

Perhaps that would effect timing? I was told that they rotate in the opposite direction.

This engine is sweet. It is brand new short block with new headers and machine shop head redo and has not been run yet due to vehicle accident.

I got this sea ray from someone who was redoing it. It has a brand new 454 and rebuilt genertator. I am not sure it I will undertake putting engine it and some repairs. Boat was funtioning before he dry docked it for upgrades. Just feeling it out and what a great place to do it????? If it is...
