+1 on the impeller debris. They can backflush the system and I'll bet you will find pieces of old impellers.

Just saw your post on the repower, congrats! Can you let us know how it went? Were you able to reuse the power steering, DTS, Joystick system, etc? I've heard these repowers can get a lot more complicated than just swapping out the engines. Would love the details as I am sure most Venture...

Glad to hear that! I had mine pulled out of the water for the storm and did just fine at the marina. Hope all the others were as lucky. Please do let me know what your installer says about removing the port lounge cushions.

I have searched high and low for the switch that activates the stern underwater lights. My best guess was accy switch, but that did not do it. Fuse checks out for the underwater lights. I simply cannot locate the switch. Anyone care to share the location?

I love that look as well. Great choice. I am actually trying to repair a section on mine, rest is in pretty good shape. However we can't figure out how to remove the passenger cushion. See my post 481. In any case, do you think you could ask your installer how he removes that piece?
