I also like using the K&N oil filters because of the big nut on the bottom. If you do not have a remote oil filter, the K&N makes tightening the new filter much easier.
I agree with FC3, wix is an excellent filter. But, amsoil filters are very good too. I personally like to use Valvoline racing oil. Good ole straight 30 weight, you just have to let the motor warm up before you take off. Then again, you should do that no matter what oil you run.
