    420 DA Thread

Hi everyone, we just sold our 400 bridge this week. We are looking at the 420’s. I started reading this forum but none of the pictures are coming up. Any thoughts? Also, is anybody selling here on the forum? We are in the upper Chesapeake. Thanks, Greg

Hi all, my wife and I decided to sell our boat and get something else. We have a 1999 with Volvo 410 diesels with about 1400 hours and lots of new stuff and in great shape. We are on the upper Chesapeake Bay. Putting this out there before I talk to my broker. Thanks, Greg

Pierpressure1, thanks. How do you know which ones you need? Sea Ray shows 4 different lengths for the cables.

Hi everyone, I think I broke a shift cable on my port forward/reverse. Has anyone had to do this? Part # ? Should I do both while I am doing this, since one broke can the other be close behind? Thanks, Greg

Thanks, I will take a look to see if I can get a new cable up there. That is the new antenna I was looking at. What size did you use? Greg

Has Anyone out there replaced the over the air tv antenna on the boat? If so, what did you use and is it any better than the original one? Did you pull new coaxial cable? How does it run to the tv and the antenna gain selector? Thanks, Greg

Larry, I found mine on Flonder Pounder (Sea Ray). It was about $1300.00. It is held on by screws and I used 4200 sealant. I filled the old screw holes with epoxy and re drilled them. Fairly easy job. You will need another set of hands when mounting to hold it up and putting screws in. Greg

Hi, I was just changing my Westerbeke 8kw diesel anode out today. When I pulled the old one out, what ever was left of the old anode fell into the exchanger. I am not sure if I need to worry about this piece of anode getting pulled into the impeller or anywhere else. Do I need to pull the end...
