He all, does anyone have a link or pdf for a Good windlass model AFD? I need to install a new rode and was looking for instructions. Can I just feed it through the hole and the gypsy will take it from there?

Funny you should ask, I just launched it yesterday (im in VT) and its like a whole new boat. With 22" props I was running 42 mph at 4800--that was at 80% throttle--I hadnt even advanced it beyond that with a recommended WOT at 4600. But if I go up in pitch I'm sure I'd be close to your numbers...

Wasn’t the 7.4 optioned with a B3 for a 1995-6 build? I have seen the 5.7 paired to a B3 at 2:1 for the same boat. If it’s running roughly at the same WOT for the 7.4 as for the 5.7–i’m serious to see how the boat responds with 22p props—which is what the 5.7 has.

The current drive ratio is 1.5. If I bolt up a B3 with a ratio of 2:1 will I overload the motor and blow it up? I'd be running 22" props. Got the drive as salvage... Thanks in advance...
