I started doing that too, but it bugged me so much I kept digging and found the buggers. Now I have two on batteries and one wired. I'll get a pic and post it when I get down to the boat.
There are inline fuses (1A I think) for each of the smoke detector circuits located behind the main panel above the chair. You have to open it up and look around because they can get tucked behind the other wires.
Serious answer. You experience and observations are highly unusual, and exactly opposite of most people's. Liberals, democrats, leftists...whatever the name, are universally less tolerant of people, views, opinions, etc. that are not aligned with their own. There is a high-minded, sanctimonious...
Very normal with the 6CTA due to the design of the overflow. The tank is so far away and below the coolant reservoir, and has such a small hose, that the pressure needed to pull coolant back up is pretty high. Unless it is brand new and very stiff, the larger hose collapsing is an easier...
What's the model and who made/installed it? Most are GHS or Nautical Structures. Aside from a leak or bad seals there's not much else to cause a drop. Any issue I've had has been seals in the cylinder (rebuilt 2 yrs ago) or leaking lines. Recommend calling the service folks for the platform...
We redid our cockpit and helm 4 years ago and simply updated the color pattern to one that's used on the newer Sea Rays circa 2014. We kept the same white/oyster at the helm for the bench and chair and went with white and two tones of tan/brown for the cockpit. If I can find the pics I'll post some.
Whether you end up using Capt Rusy or not, give him a call. He's been busy this year going up and down the coast so calling him directly (rather than email or text) is you best bet. No nicer guy in the world and he'll walk you through the options and opinions based on his unmatched experience...
Sad ignorance by the voting police. Completely wrong to make them remove/cover masks, hats, t-shirts, etc. And even worse that many people think there are rules against it. Supreme court has ruled on this.
Plate is easy to find in West Marine. More a matter of distance between the studs/holes than size. What's harder to find at WM are aluminum "zincs" for use in the bay. And no, no anodes on the shafts.
Hmm...I just use a large bolt to thread in and remove then zip ties for install. Biggest PIA is not dropping the key in the intake hose, then inserting the new. Solve that by rotating the engine so key is on the top.
Not so odd. I run 10m in the Racors. The mechanic that works on mine (the only one) recommends and he knows more than most have forgotten. Also the marina where I fuel uses 10m in their system. Also considering additional filtration similar to what Tony suggests on Sbmar.
Just tighten it first. Don't need to pull the boat. Small leakage doesn't mean you need to repack it. It's easy to do but if you haven't got the tools or experience, let a mechanic do it.
