      Hello, my name is Eric Taylor. I'm on Lake Norman also. My 290 has a generator and I have been following some of your posts in the Sea Ray 290 threads... and noticed you had some generator work done with your boat. Did you use a local service mechanic for the work or did you do the work yourself? I can't get this Kohler started and would love to have it worked on during the slower boating season if possible! LOL

        Yes I had the raw water impeller replaced, A full service; oil, spark plugs, fuel filter and had the choke assembly replaced. The choke was crazy expensive (600) for just the part but I had to replace the whole thing. The heater element is less than 100. So for the service work on all the things I’ve had fixed I use Safe Harbor Marina West Port.

        Hey Eric, just re-read our PM. Did you get it running? Mine now has a leak at the anti-siphon connection. It’s always something.
