    250 sundancer fuel sending unit location?

    Does anyone know where to find the fuel sending unit on a '96 250 sundancer? I've taken the panel up in the aft cabin and nothing but the top of the tank is visable...I'm thinking it's in the bilge, under the white plastic tank but not sure and hate to just start taking things apart

    Update...after a week, I went to the boat today....I looked down the carb while my wife pumped the throttle and there was fuel squirting into the carb every time and you have to have the throttle floored for it to start so my issue isn;t no fuel it must be to much fuel so am I looking at opening...

    Thanks for the reply, I've always had Q-jets and never had a problem.....if the carbs leak down, how does this happen? I understand the lines loose pressure with no pump working and gravity drains to the lowest point but in a carb bowl how would fuel leak down?

    what is that wood

    I have an '89 sundancer 300, does anyone know what wood that is? it was apparently clearcoated with something...maybe from factory but its ugly now and most of the clear is gone...i want to refinish but not sure if its teak and i should clean and use teak oil or?

    I adjusted the valves again today and still no good.....the motor just runs so rough, almost like i have a cylinder or 2 thats down...it doesnt idle, flutters thru the carb when you accelerate, it doesnt pull nice smooth vacuum when you increase the throttle, it has to have an intake valve...

    prop rotation

    both props look identical so it cant be counter rotating? I did put both in forward to remove.....so to start from scratch....when i put the upper and lower unit together, i should rotate the shifter gear clockwise which would lock the prop in the clockwise direction to be in forward?

    hhave an '89 300 sundancer with 5.7... i had to pull the motor to do some repairs and at the same time replaced the gimbal housing, and gimbal bearing...i used the original inner plate. I can not get things aligned, i have the alignment tool but it wont go into the splines...looks like it leaves...
