I have 2 new alternators, just got the boat. I noticed that both volt gauges on the dash jump from 14, down to 12, then back up. This is happening on first start up and maybe an hour to two after. They stay more on 14 than 12. Is this the intake heaters I hear so much about? I'm sure this can't...

Have a brand new complete set of marine mat stick on flooring. Cockpit to platform. Light teak w/black teak lines. 6mm. All cut to fit 420 da, 2004,2005. 1200 bucks.

According to sea ray's wiring diagrams there are 2 amps for the stereo system. One behind the salon couch,( I found it). That's for all the interior speakers and another one is somewhere for the cockpit speakers and sub. That's the one I can't find anywhere. Anyone know where it is?

Question on amp location. Just took delivery on my 2004 420 da. The stereo worked during survey. It's dead now. Power to head unit above main panel. Found one amp behind salon sofa. Where the heck is the other amp? Some stated both amps need to power up for main unit to go on. Either unit...

I just purchased a 04 420 da. The salon table is a blotchy faded mess. I called mfg to see what type of finish is on the table, but they never called me back. I'm sure it can be refinished, but I was wondering what the finish actually is. If sanded were do u stop? Can it be stripped with paint...

Hi 450 people. Just sold my 400 express and looking at 450's. only been a few days of looking. Found one with 3116 cats in it. The 300 hp ones. Everything I read says " stay away". Wondering y. Underpowered? Low resale? Any info would be great. Btw. It's a 97 w/ 840 hours. Thx

Any ideas? My systems monitor forward bilge light is always on. As well as the forward bilge rocker. It's not on. It's does go on when turned on by the rocker or lifting the float. Bad rocker??? Short?? I'm lost. any ideas

Did basically the same thing. Removed mount from windshield, relocated it under rear center of arch. Had a canvas guy bend a 36" anchor pole light into a "L" to clear the garmin dome. Just plug it in when needed. Quick n painless.

Got it. Found one bulb shorted. Fix the problem. Next question, there two black double wall switches. One on the salon wall to the left of sliding exit. The other is in main birth. The upper one on each turn on lights. The bottom on each do nothing. What are they suppose to do?
