    Speedometer hole cleanout...

I understand that there is a hole on the leading edge of the outdrive for the speedometer. Does anyone know specifically where this hole is located? I'd love to see it in a photo or on a diagram of some sort. I understand how to clean it out by hand w/ a drill bit, I just have to find it...

    Outdrive dropping

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is the trim pump. Fluid level stays good, so it must be an internal problem where fluid is not leaking out, but maybe bypassing something.

    Outdrive dropping

Is it true that a Viagra mixed in with the hydraulic fluid will keep my outdrive up!!?? But seriously, I'm having problems w/ the outdrive dropping while on the trailer (takes about 2 days to drop completely) and trim changes (goes down) while under power. First noticed this after getting...

Inherited 2 batteries. Where to stick 'em?

Jeff, I don't have a generator and tend to run out of 12V before I return to the dock. I really don't mind giving up the room. And Nehalennia, I'm unsure if they're flooded. I don't believe so. They are Interstate 6V deep cycle is all I know. I'd kind of like to leave the existing system as...

    New circuit breaker

Any suggestions on where to purchase a new circuit breaker for the 120V panel? I just installed A/C and need a breaker to protect it. Thanks in advance. Don

Inherited 2 batteries. Where to stick 'em?

OK, before you really tell me where to stick 'em, let me explain what I've got. A friend has donated 2ea. 6V deep cycle batteries AND a charger for me to install on my 240DA. I merely want to mount everything near my existing batteries and have some additional power for weekends away from the...

Custom built A/C for 240 DA

Thanks Mike. That's a neat little A/C. I may end up going that route.

Custom built A/C for 240 DA

Gee thanks for blowing my idea out of the water (pun intended! LOL). I guess with the water heater, battery charger and misc. other 110 volt goodies down there I didn't think of the potential explosion hazard. Hmmm...back to the drawing board. Maybe a hole in the side of the boat with a...

Custom built A/C for 240 DA

Greetings all! As the temperature warms up here in KY, (it got up to 26 yesterday) thoughts turn to boating and preparation for another season. Since I am a commercial HVAC contractor, I am wanting to build my own central HVAC system for my 240 DA. I have in mind a compressor, water cooled...

    240DA Fridge Broke/Replace?

I have had similar problems myself. Indeed a small glass fuse on the control board was blown preventing it from working on 120v. A new fuse resolved that. I still continue to fight the run/won't run issue on 12v. I do understand that the control board is designed to shut the unit down if the...

Check valve location in water system?

Thank you for the reply. I thought there should be a check valve somewhere, but couldn't find it. I'll tear into the water heater and see if I can locate it.
