Thank you FlyBoyc! I had also heard last night that Si-Tek makes an AP unit for cable steering. The Si-Tek SP-120. it's supposed to be rated #1 for trolling. It's a behind the helm unit. I'll be looking into this as well.

Hello everyone, I am mounting new electronics on my 2000 Sea Ray 290 AmberJack. I will be getting a thru-hull transducer with a 2" cutout. There are 3 options - 0 degrees, 12 degrees and 20 degrees. Not sure which one to purchase. Thank You, Don W.
