Also don’t forget to have your small children play in the water on the ramp while other people are trying to back up! Happened to me twice this last week while trying to back up and get off the lake.
We love our wakeboard tower on our SPX190. Does help the kids wakeboard but we really got it because we liked having the tower to hold on to and the large Bimini.
The nemesis is designed to be the same pitch as your 3 blade so the results should be good. I replaced my 4x19 Black Max (3 blade) with the recommended 4x19 Nemesis (4 blade) and it works great and kept the RPMs at WOT.
Also anyone know where the speedometer hose comes into the engine compartment. I have a blockage and need to try to blow it out. Already checked the out drive for any debris. I think something got in there last year and hardened while I. Storage this winter.
Happy July 4th! Anyone else have a difficult time (like 1/2 gallon at a squeeze) filling their fuel tank? I am thinking we have a sag in the vent hose but thought I would ask for other suggestions!
Just remember that the 190SPX is a much larger boat than the 185. The I/O 190 SPX typically comes with a 3 blade 14.25x19p Black max. If it is an aggressive 17p with a lot of cup that could be the problem. I would get the engine checked first (RPM gauge off?) then look to get the original...
If you go back through this thread there are a number of pictures of after market Seadek installs. Curious that they made it a snap in option. Just last year it was the infinity woven snap in or a carpet snap in.
I have a SPX 190 with the 200 hp IO. Original prop was a 14.5x19 3 blade. Now running 14x19 nemesis 4 blade. The nemesis has two line one for engines under 135 hp and one for engines up to 300-350hp (I’d Have to check). Uses a Flo Troq II hub. Better hole shot. Almost the same top end and...
I like the 4 blade nemesis as a replacement for the black max 3 blade. This is a pitch for pitch replacement. Also if your rivers are like mine (St Croix and Mississippi) then there is always the potential of debris floating down river to ding your prop. This doesn’t mean to avoid SS but...
There are a number of threads on this but typically a 14.25/14.5 by 19 3 blade would be replaced with a 14x19 4 blade. I believe it has to do with drag due to blade surface area.
