Two reasons:1. my 2005 has the old shifter set up with 2 throttles and two gear shifters. I have found it very difficult to master. DTS seems much smoother and easier to operate. 2.-I have twin 350 mags in my 320 Da. I have to push it to 4000 RPM's to cruise at 22-25 mph. It's slow.

yes-their are two pieces that mount outside the door. I do not have the piece that goes inside.

no heat exchangers so no coolant. Took it for a ride yesterday after replacing the impellor and it overheating again in the channel at low rpm. Was on the lake for about 15 min. at 3500-4500 rpm and had no issues.

You can order the silver ones from your local Marine Max but their about $12 per set.
