I just checked on Ebay and the cover is there -- item no 150579645483 -- but the price is much higher. Now it's $725 plus $125 shipping.
If you know a good fiberglass shop, you may be able to get it made.

I just received my new fiberglass engine cover that I ordered on Ebay. It looks great and I think this is the best solution to the cracked cover.
If you have a different model/year and want to see if this cover will fit, go to SeaRay's website and look up the parts breakdown for your boat (or...
I don't know if the 210 and 185 are similar. When I called Sea Ray they did not know of any cover other that the 1997 185 that would fit.
KW4162, what is the weight difference between the PVC and the fiberglass? Where is the manufacturer? Can you post pictures?
Thanks,

I had an email conversation with a man from North Carolina with the same problem. He had the engine cover covered with vinyl by a local shop for about $400. It was done about two years ago. He sold the boat but tells me that he's heard that the fix is holding up very well. That's the option...
Thanks but that's not something I want to tackle. I have quite a few cracks and it would be a major job. I'm surprised that Sea Ray hasn't suggested something like that.
Redoing the interior is certainlly one option and I have not looked into it. I have talked to a boat shop about covering the engine cover with vinyl but he has not been able to look at it yet.
Thanks for the info from your owners manual. I haven't seen that. The dealer did try some glue but...
I think that Cranca has the right idea. I'm going to look into it. Another solution that I heard about was covering the cover with vinyl and padding. At this point I don't think that would work for me.
I never got it solved. I've contacted two others that had the same problem. Sea Ray was no help to anyone. Covering the engine cover with vinyl may be the only solution.

I did receive a reply from Sea Ray to my letter. They basically repeated what I know -- the part is not available and they can't do anything about it.
They suggested that the dealer may be able to suggest a fiberglass fabricator that can make one.
I found out on my own that the part...
Thanks for the replies.
The cover has several cracks. In 1997 the cover was made from ABS molded plastic instead of fiberglass (should have gotten a '98).
My boat has a captains chair on the right and back to back chairs on the left with seats on either side of the engine cover.
I...
My engine cover is badly cracked. I'm not sure how it happened but the part is now longer available -- it is a molded plastic cover made by a sub that is out of business. My dealer has tried but is out of ideas and so far Sea Ray hasn't been very helpful. Any ideas??
Thanks,
