I need to swap out the 3000 classic side mount shifter on my 96 Sundancer 250. Does anyone know if it will come out through the panel on the wall in the head or out the engine bay area? Wont fit through the speaker hole unfortunately. Was going to leave cables hooked to it until its out. It...

Hi Guys, I have a 96 250 Sundancer. I need to swap out the shifter assembly. 3000 series. It will not fit through the hole that its mounted or the speaker hole. Does anyone know if it will come out through the access panel in the bathroom or out the bilge area?

I wont be using it with radar. To be honest I will probably only use this thing 3 or 4 times all summer long. But you never know, I may have fun with it and use it more that I think
Thanks for all the answers, this has really helped a lot. I'm looking at the Garmin Echomap Plus 93SV with a 9" screen. There a couple others in that same category as well. I still have a few months before the boat goes in the water so I can really look into the features
