Todd is spot on. Less boat traffic and calmer. So, you may have to put up with some showers here and there - regardless, it's not so cold as to be uncomfortable.

I think there is also one in the head medicine cabinet - or, am I imagining that. Reason I say this is when we took delivery of our boat, we had the same issue (no vac). When the dealer came and checked it out, the GFI was the issue.

I was amazed how stable the image is.

One more thing...open up the cabinet where the vacuum is housed (the actual collection tank) and look to see if there is a switch in there. Also, check all your outlets with GFI's to be sure they are not tripped.

It "should" work in either mode. Obvious statement, but be sure you have your shore power and/or gennie switches on to whatever source you are pulling from. You should see the amperage needles move towards the right.
