    Official Caterpillar3116/3126 Thread

I am not 100% sure but I believe it was Shields series 252. I’ll take a look when I get back down to my boat. I believe it was 1-1/4” ID.

    Springtime shine 2024

The Starke Ceramic held up so well last year, this winter I gave her a hand wash with a mixture of Starke Venom to remove all of the contaminants and water spots, then applied a spray on coat of their Replenish. Pretty happy to not have to buff anything this winter.

    410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

Splashed on 4/8, all good except for the freshwater pump this year. Decided to upgrade to a slightly higher flow rate, accumulator, and the kit to quiet the pumps down. What a difference!

20 HP Tohatsu vs. Yamaha vs. Suzuki in a Highfield 310 CL

Late to the game here but I love my 20 HP white Suzuki. It has been bulletproof so far. I was looking for the lightest weight 4 stroke 15-20 HP I could find because of my lift system and how it sits so far back, didn't hurt that it was painted white either! Whoever thought black engines belonged...

    Springtime shine 2024

The ceramic held up very well from last season, this winter I just need to wipe down the topsides with the water spot remover from Starke and wipe her down with some Replenish to boost the coating. Very thankful for that!

    320 Part Out

How much for the rear cushions? We really just need the seats, not the back rests.

This Old Garage: Show us your garage

Yes it is, we do the same. It was about $25 last month but the door was opening and closing a ton bringing things in and out. The entire garage is spray foamed and pretty tight. I’m guessing this month will be a little more with the super cold temps we have been having. This is the one I...

This Old Garage: Show us your garage

Very easy. You can pressure wash right through it or hose it out. If you really want to, you can slide a section out once a year and clean it normally. I didn’t want to mess with puddles or piles of dirt. Everything goes right through and you always have a dry clean floor to walk on. You...

We picked up one of these Bintelli Beyond’s last summer. Street legal and a blast to run around town!

Cat 3116 "hunting" after injector change

I have been having the same issue with a slight surge at idle once the engine is warm. I did not have a great experience with one CAT tech, but then had a great experience with another from a different location. We did "check" the check valves but I was never convinced that the first guy knew...

    Managed to burn gelcoat

I have found that you can go lightly and SLOWLY over the burned area with a good compound and it will save you from sanding.
