YETI Coolers - Function or Fad?

I currently own a Yeti Tundra Haul, an RTIC ultralite and a Siberian 40. I just sold my Permachill 75l. All are/were great and hold ice for days. You can't go wrong with any good rotomolded cooler. They'll last forever with a little care and maintenance.

What does it cost you to have the bottom painted?

Marina just dropped our 310 back in the water from fresh bottom paint job. $21/foot for $651 total. They prepped it last fall. No short haul fee as they forgot to do it prior to original launch date.

Looking for a 8'6" beam that can sleap 6

Had 1, 90' 270 which became 290 in 92' and 93'. Great boat but to wide (9') for original poster. I had a trailer but it wasn't legal here in NY. I threw caution to the wind twice a year though!

    Bravo 3 vs Bravo 1

No way would I ever replace a B3 with a B1 on a boat that size with only 260HP. Not only would it have trouble planing it would be a bear to keep on plane. No enjoyment for the captain or guests.

    Boat Name?!?

Thank you! We had a long list of names on our fridge all winter the year we bought it. We would ask guests there opinion and most would add a name or two to it. Finally in the spring over dinner at a local bar my wife came up with Softspot. (Boat had a softspot on deck repaired at previous...

    Triangle of pain and torture

Funny, was just talking with an engineer yesterday at a local beach about our boat yesterday. Told him If I found the SeaRay engineer who designed the battery location on our 310 I'd hang the SOB from the highest tree and leave his carcass there as a warning to other engineers. Behind the...

    Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

Yes, 3 batteries. Port starting that also runs blowers, bilge and cockpit lighting. 2 in parallel that run the house bank and start the starboard motor. Weird setup but thats the way SeaRay designed them. It has the emergency starting crossover too. The OEM charger was a 2 bank 20 amp and it...

    Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

We try to do a little improvement project on our 310 every year. This season we had a new Charger (Pronautic 12 2 10)put in at the beginning of the season figuring next years project would be 3 AGM batteries so I would no longer have to service the poorly placed batteries every year. WRONG...

    2013 370 Venture New Owner

My wife and I are so jealous! We were looking at newer boats last year and a 370 venture was on the very short list of what we would give up our 310 dancer for. A couple of 31/34 Formulas and 07 -13ish 330/350 dancers were the others but the Venture was our fav. Loved the Queen walkaround...

Best way to clean yellow power cables

Ours were marking the stern of the boat up too. I coiled each ours up in a bucket of hot soapy water and let them sit. Pulled them out slowly with a green scotch bright pad scrubbing the length of the cable. When they were dry I 303'd them and cleaned and greased the ends with terminal...

    03 320 Sundancer V drive vs i/o

You wont regret buying I/Os, especially in fresh water. I love my 310 with b3s. Pricey to overhaul but should be a 10-15 year item if properly taken care of. Nothing hard about maneuvering in tight quarters once you figure out the pivot point of your boat. My buddy has an 03 320 with 6.2...

Factory AC location? 1992 270 Sundancer

True, 90'-91' 270da and 92'-93' 290da are the same size and layout. The '92 270 is a smaller boat, prior to 92 it was the 250da.
