    Bimini Suggestions 2000 180 O/B Bowrider

Hi All I have the great lakes bimini topat the moment, the one that attaches to the windscreen. I wanted something this was higher and would allow easier movement around the boat and up to the bow. The wife and kids also want more shade. My question is, where should I get one and do I go for a...

Full cover for 180 Outboard bowrider 2000 model

Hi Dennis I think its factory because its in the spec book i got with the boat. But I will try westland too, i know they had an affiliation with Searay for covers at one point. I saw the same pole on another 180 ob i went to see once. But I think you are right, either change the pole for a...

Full cover for 180 Outboard bowrider 2000 model

Hi Dennis Sorry I was at work when i did the other posts, here is a picture. Yes $2k is madness. Great lakes have just come back with 25% off a quote they did me a month ago, which is quite good. But they are very quiet on the material and if it is cut to take into account the ski pylon, which i...

Hi Dennis No it is fixed in place. It was called a ski tripod by searay. The earlier years were removable I think. Cheers Rob

Full cover for 180 Outboard bowrider 2000 model

Hi Dennis Yes its the standard 3 legged ski pylon fitted with the boat, so its orignal sea ray equipment and it works great so I want to leave it on. Its $2000 for a custom cover over here, which is too expensive for my budget. Thanks Rob

    Bow Cleat Thingy

Thanks David, an anchor bollard cleat. Learning something new every day. I dont really anchor a great deal, more for skiing and fishing. I just did not want to buy a new $600 cover and ruin it with the bollard cleat. I tried the tennis ball approach when I got this cover but the kept on falling...

    Bow Cleat Thingy

Hi Dennis Is that the 3 pointed cleat at the front. I was going to keep the part where the anchor slider down because its useful but I have two cleats that I can use to tie the anchor rope off to. I tried getting my arm up therough the front of the bowrider but could only reach the underside of...

    Folding or Flush Cleats

Hi All I am going for the record, third post in as many minutes. Hopefully a new cover on the way so doing a bit of prep. I was going to change the cleats last year but budget did not allow. Being as I am getting a new cover I thought its a good time to change the cleats, less wear and a better...

    Bow Cleat Thingy

Hi Second post in as many minutes. I am preparing for a new cover and wanted to REMOVE the bow cleat (not sure of nautical term). It is what you would lash the anchor to. You can see it in the picture below. It wears through the covers in a matter of months. Thanks Rob

Full cover for 180 Outboard bowrider 2000 model

Hi All My cover is shot to s**t and driving me mad. I am going to order a cover from the US and get it shipped to Australia, so it has to be right. The problem with my boat is that it has the sea ray ski pole and I have not found a generic cover yet that will overcome this problem. Its parked...
