Oh and the drain design sucks. Especially the one in the stern battery compartment. Hopefully they rerouted it so it doesn’t go UP over the battery before draining.
Listen to Dennis (Lazy Daze) Could you tow from it, maybe. How lucky do you feel. My 2016 had the warning label on it and I have seen first hand the damage from those that tried the tube and weren’t as lucky. I’ll see if I can find the photos.
I think the new SR’s have an illuminated logo as part of an optional LED illumination package. I don’t particularly like the new shape however. Maybe ask a dealer if the new one is available.
Got out in 2020. Wife never had the same love I had for it. I did try for years but you either love it or not. Besides it’s just the two of us. Not much fun going out by yourself.
Congratulations on the new boat! Like ranmhall said about the towing. Use the ring on the transom. If you had the outboard version of your boat you should use a bridle because on those they have a ski pylon(pole) That definitely should NOT be used for towing big tubes, only for water skiing...
Dang I was really hoping you could be a little more specific and share a few more details about prepping for your siding project while possibly being sick with Covid on the “Happy 4th” thread. What color did you decide on? Material? Costs?
