Mine has a fair bit of caulking. I dont have any leak issues aside from aged and poorly fitting camper top windows (need to replace them). My 95 is quite watertight for an aged boat. I did replace the windshield seal as well.

Guys can anyone help my with the oem compass model and manufacturer for the 1995-1999ish 330's? My original is long gone. Previous negligent owner installed a crude plate and much smaller compass. I ordered a new ritchie navigator but it is smaller. The measurements of oem appeae to be 6"...

I used taylor made for the same windshield seal. Supposedly was the same part nunber searay gave me (330 sundancer but same idea) the taylor made seal was expensive and didnt fit at all.. it was different then what searay must have used originally. I was able to make it work ok by cutting it...

i would be interested in the answer to this as well.. cant find weight limits for swim platforms anywhere including manuals. At 400lb dry weight.. figure another 100+ for fuel and weight of a small hoist, it might be allowable. I would think the boat would handle different thats for sure.

Well That dosnt help as I have a 2.20, although the other guy who posted said he had a 2.20 and 22P. The question is thats a big difference in diameter for props.. 14.25" vs 15.75" Was one set for high elevation from sea level Im guessing ?

Sorry I figured that was clear that I have a 280 DA as i was posting in this thread.. it is a 496 with Bravo 3 2.20 ratio. I currently have 20P propset, and my numbers arent where they should be for rpm and speed. That link you posted didnt work. I already contacted Searay they werent any help...

how would we know what 22p version they are? what a pain. There are other numbers stamped on the propset, not sure what ones you are referring to.

It is stamped or marked on the mercruiser bravo 3 sticker on the outdrive, near where the serial number is.

Ok thanks. And your drive is a 2.20 ratio? That gives me a starting point as my props are 20P with a 2.20 drive

I have had a leaking hose/fitting before. Where the hose attached to the drain pan fitting, it was a swivel type that quick connect clipped on. Was worn and leaked a bit, but probably only a drip here or there. Good luck.

One more question.. anyone ever removed the swim platform on a 280? (for repair or modification) Thanks!
