No spark on number one that is. Generator runs great on the one cylinder as long as there is a light load. Still smell the gas and still see it in the water discharge.

There is no spark on the spark checking tool from Stevens Instruments and it does not light the timing light while the generator is running. I have swapped the known good coil to the other side and it does not spark on that side, switch it back and it works fine. Plugs have been changed and also...

So far I have changed plugs. Swapped the coils from one side to the next. I have verified the 12 volts to the E terminal of the coil harness. I have verified the 5 volts to the A terminal. I have verified the ground connection and resistance on the B,C,D terminals. I have ohmed out the harness...

I have done everything in our shop to try and find the cause of the no spark on one cylinder condition. Has anyone else encountered this problem on their generator?
