Well, I finially finished up the bow pulpit. I have made a lot of progress on the boat but I still need to update the thread but here's a preview of the work I've done. More to come!!!
The do offer transient slips and have a pool. Mac Ray is right next door. The transient rate is $1.50/linear Foot. It's best to make reservations. and here's the page for the forms and info lol you would think I work there but I don't. I'm just super excited to be there.
I think also the fact that the weather has been so crappy that people have been slow to find a place. I have a feeling once the cold breaks, there will be a mass influx of boaters filling up slots all around the lake
I visited the site but it didn't seem to active (at least not like CSR) but there were loads of resources there that were fantastic. Thanks for the link
Last weekend I paid for my spot in Belle Maer Harbor on Lake St. Clair at spot C24. I wanted to connect up before I brought the boat out there so we could get to know each other a bit. so I was wondering who on the forums in at Belle Maer and get their opinions on the place and say howdy!

So Just to update everyone. I talked to the Person who rebuilt the engine for me today. He told me the carb has an automatic choke. after going through my head the events of that day. I think what happened was that, I ran the battery down (because I was cleaning the inside of the boat during the...
So after 2 months of weekend after weekend wanting to go out but not being able to, I am FINALLY going to get to take the boat out tomorrow. It's supposed to get up to 56° F and no rain! going to try to get the boat into wamplers lake. I know the channel is shallow to get to the lake but from...
If your fuse holders are grey, I'm in need of those. also If you have the antennae and holder in decent shape, I could use those. also the transom door if it's in good shape, I think will fit on mine as well. I'm also going to be rebuilding the hatch so any of the panel wood that is in good...
So I have have new to me 1984 245DA with a newly rebuilt engine. I have only gotten it out on the water once and I am sure it was run a couple of times before I got there so there was no problem starting it up.
A month or so passes and I decided to go start the boat up in the driveway...
HAHAHAH I was thinking the exact same thing. I was trying to make a crude picture of that before I even scrolled down and saw your post!!! I think Pixar is going to hire carvers design departmant for their next movie "BOATS"
I like the plates better. I also found these fuse holders, they are kind of expensive for fuse holders but they are illuminated and I think the just look cool.
don't know if they will work or not but it's the direction I'll be heading in.
I LOVE those plates. I would definately go with those. I think I might even do something like that for mine. as well. Let me know what you come up with for the fuses. I've looked all around for fuses and the only ones I can find have the word "FUSE" stamped on the top of them which I think looks...
